Papa Scott's Dry Rub

Ingredients:


  • 3 Tbsp Chili Powder

  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar

  • 2 Tbsp Cumin

  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano, crushed not powdered

  • 1 Tbsp Dry Mustard, ground

  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Turmeric

  • 1 Tbsp Dried Thyme

  • 1 ½ tsp Sea Salt

Directions:


Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl using a fork to dissolve the lumps.


Papa Scott’s Notes:


  1. To spice it up, add Cayenne Pepper, Paprika, Red Pepper Flakes and/or fresh ground black Pepper Corns to your taste.

  2. For larger batches use the following conversion table

a. 4 Tbsp = ¼ Cup

b. 2 ½ tsp = 1 Tbsp
