Ingredients:
1 C Brown Sugar, tightly packed (substitute Raw Sugar if wanted)
½ C Water
¼ C Corn Syrup, preferably dark
½ C Butter
1 tsp Dried Ground Ginger
1 tsp Fresh Grated Nutmeg
Directions:
In double boiler (you can substitute a metal mixing bowl for the top half of the double boiler) add sugar and water in heated boiler. Whisk until completely mixed.
Add corn syrup, butter, ginger, and nutmeg whisking constantly until thoroughly mixed.
Keep on low heat while basting. It goes perfect with a ham.
